The Rains ISD
Transportation And Boundaries:
Rains ISD boundaries extend more than 178 square miles, with RISD buses traveling over 1094 miles daily. Residence within the boundaries of the district is a requirement for enrollment. Applications for transfer are accepted.
Required Documents:
A copy of the student’s Social Security card, a copy of the student’s birth certificate, the student’s immunization record, and proof of residency is required at the first time of registration for Rains schools.
Age Requirements:
Kingergarten…………….5 years
First grade……………….6 years
State law requires that students reach the stated age on or before September 1 of the current year to enroll.
