Rains ISD 2025 Board of Trustees Election

• Rains ISD will hold a General Election on May 3, 2025

• Places 1, 2, and 3 for a term of four(4) years

• An application for place on the ballot must be filed with Rains ISD Elections Administrator by mail, fax, email or in person beginning Wednesday, January 15, 2025 and ending at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, February 14, 2025.

Current state law requires a candidate to be a qualified voter by the time required as prescribed by Election Code Section 141.01.

To be elected, a candidate must receive a plurality of votes, therefore, the candidate receiving the most votes will win the position.

The notarized Application for Place on the Ballot with the Appointment of a Campaign Treasurer must be filed with Rains ISD Elections Administrator Pamela Gilliard by mail, fax, email, or in person.
