Food Services

Overview

The Rains ISD Food Services Department is a non-profit, self-funded food service program offering nutritionally sound breakfast and lunch meals daily for all students and staff on all campuses. The Child Nutrition Director prepares monthly menus according to the campus age level. All guidelines established by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the Texas Department of Agriculture are used to ensure students are receiving recommended nutritional meals.

Rains ISD Food Services participates in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs. Free and Reduced-Price meals are available to students who qualify according to household size and income. Please visit our Free & Reduced Meal Program article for the application and additional information.
