Student Enrollment

The items below are necessary to enroll a your student in Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade.

The parent or legal guardian must have:

  1. Birth certificate

  2. Social security card

  3. Immunization record

  4. Driver’s license of parent/guardian who is enrolling student

  5. Proof of residency in Rains County (utility bill)

  6. Final report card from previous school year

Rains ISD will request all other school records.

  1. Assessment results (STAAR, iStation, Study Island, etc.)

  2. Home Language Survey

  3. Special program documents: Special Education, Speech, Section 504, Dyslexia, Gifted & Talented
