We would like to give you an update on our monitoring and response to recent social media posts. Part of the social media scare yesterday involved a list of
several hundred schools that someone had downloaded from TEA (targeted support list) and then posted with statements threatening gun violence on 9/11.

Rains is on the list with hundreds of other schools. Last night a copy of a text message began circulating among our local community saying they had seen the
list of schools and that people should be careful. The texter names schools in the area that they saw on the list including Rains and several others.
This text appears to be based on the list from yesterday and does not seem to be a threat.

Our security protocols remain in place and safety remains our top priority.
