Rains ISD

Rains ISD is proud to announce that our Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) application has been fully approved by the Texas Education Agency!  TIA is designed to attract and retain highly effective teachers. Through the TIA system, eligible teachers are designated as Recognized, Exemplary, or Master Teachers based on multiple measures of student growth and professional practice.

We are excited to share that Rains ISD now has 18 TIA designated teachers. Those teachers, along with key classroom support staff, will receive over $170,000 in TIA payout funds. This accomplishment reflects the dedication, professionalism, and positive impact our educators have on student learning each day.

We congratulate all of our designated teachers and commend them for their dedication and commitment to student success. Their achievements reflect the strength of our campuses and the supportive culture that exists throughout Rains Independent School District.
