Statement of Emergency: The surges in positive cases of COVID-19 infections in Rains ISD schools have resulted in an unforeseen closure of Rains ISD. As the numbers of positive cases continue to rise, time is of the essence and the Board of Trustees must receive critical information needed to determine appropriate actions to mitigate the increased imminent threat to public health and safety and ensure the continuation of essential operations.
