[10/10/23] This morning, an ambulance was called to Rains Junior High School for an emergency involving a student. Thank you to those on campus who responded quickly, as well as the EMS responders from the county.
[10/10/23] Rains ISD is aware of a reported rumor of a student threatening to harm others. Administration immediately began the procedure of investigating the situation, and the parents of the student in question were notified. The district has determined this threat to be false and has taken action to ensure the safety of students and staff. For safety reasons, we will not be disclosing the details of the actions we have taken.

1️⃣ Please do NOT use your cell phone while in line, even if you're at a stop and waiting to move forward! We need everyone to be alert to help avoid any accidents.
2️⃣ Please make sure your kiddos remain in their seats and buckled up while the vehicle is moving! They are more than welcome to wave and shout to friends once they're safely outside the vehicle and walking into school.
