🔔 Hand-Foot-and-Mouth Disease UPDATE 🔔 Parents/Guardians: RISD Health Services has updated the requirements for students returning to school after contracting HFMD! Students may return to school once they are fever-free for 24 consecutive hours without the use of fever-reducing medication AND their rash is clearing with no signs of fluid coming from sores.

🚨 Expressing hopelessness about the future
🚨 Displaying severe and/or overwhelming emotional pain or distress
🚨 Showing worrisome changes in behavior, particularly in combination with the warning signs above, including significant:
✳ Withdrawal from or changing social connections and/or situations
✳ Changes in sleep (increased or decreased)
✳ Anger or hostility that seems out of character or out of context
✳ Recent increased agitation or irritability
