Rains Intermediate was recognized by our regional Education Service Center for "Mathematizing" their campus! By adding a Mathematician St. bulletin board, & 3rd-5th grade hallway place value charts, Mrs. Davis is showing our students that math is important and exciting! 🤓➕➗✖➖

Did you know that 1 out of 5 students is bullied? Parents, school staff, and other adults can help prevent bullying by:
🟠 Helping kids understand bullying - Talk about what bullying is and how to stand up to it safely. Tell kids bullying is unacceptable and make sure they know how to get help.
🟠 Checking in - Check in with kids often. Listen to them, know their friends, ask about school, and understand their concerns.
🟠 Finding something they love - Encourage kids to find special activities, interests, and hobbies to boost their confidence, help them make friends. and protect them from bullying behavior.
🟠 Modeling how to treat others - Show kindness and respect to teach the kids in your lives that there is no place for bullying.
