NOTICE OF SCHOOL CLOSURE- January 15, 2026.
Please read the attached letter. No school tomorrow. Classes will resume Tuesday, January 20th.
Due to water service not being restored, Rains ISD will have an early release today. Parent pickup will begin at 1:00 PM, and buses will run three hours earlier than normal. We will continue to communicate any additional information and updates. Thank you for your understanding as the water lines are being repaired.
Rains ISD is currently experiencing a water outage due to a main water break. We are working closely with the City of Emory and actively monitoring the situation. Outage is estimated to be resolved by 11:00AM today. Additional updates will be communicated as information becomes available.
