Please see the attached letter from Superintendent, Mr. Nicks regarding added days and minutes to make up for state required instructional time.
School will be in session on the two designated Bad Weather Days as currently listed on our calendar. Those designated days are Friday, May 15th and Friday, May 22nd.
In addition, Elementary and Intermediate campuses will need to make up additional minutes due to their shorter school day schedules. We are extending the school day by 6 minutes for those campuses, beginning Monday, March 30th. For the remainder of the year, dismissal for Elementary and Intermediate students will be at 4:11 p.m. instead of 4:05 p.m. The impact on bus routes should be minimal, if any.
Thank you for your continued partnership in supporting our students and schools.
