[02/03/2026] This morning, the fire alarm was activated at Rains Intermediate due to a HVAC mechanical issue. Students were evacuated as a precaution. No danger was found, and the campus was deemed safe. All students have since returned to class as usual. Thank you to all who responded so quickly and effectively, including our local fire department.

We love our school counselors! They are a valuable resource, helping students navigate challenges and plan for the future. Each of these ladies has a deep impact on our schools, and we thank them wholeheartedly for all that they do at Rains ISD! 💙
