Rains ISD is now accepting transfer students for the 2026-2027 school year.

Rains Independent School District is seeking input from area private non-profit schools interested in accessing ESSA services for the 2026-2027 school year.

Rains ISD will be available for consultation with area PNP’s via meetings scheduled with Lyndsay Hayes, Executive Director of Academics. If interested, please reach out by email to hayesl@rainsisd.org or by phone at 903-473-2222 by June 9, 2026 for more information.

We are so proud of our 4th and 5th grade Jr. Explorers for representing Rains ISD at the Region 7 Robotics Competition on Monday! Their hard work, creativity, and teamwork were on full display as they coded their robots and problem solved through each event they completed.

A special congratulations goes out to our 5th grade team for earning 3rd Place in the Design Notebook competition! We are incredibly proud of the dedication and perseverance shown by all of our students. Great job, Jr. Explorers! 🏆
